Chocolate Chip Brownie Sundae

  1. Preheat the Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Make the Brownie Batter:
In a bowl, whisk together the melted butter and granulated sugar until smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract, whisking until fully combined.
  3. Add Dry Ingredients:
Sift in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix to keep the brownies fudgy.
  4. Bake the Brownies:
Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs. Let the brownies cool completely before cutting into small squares.
  5. Assemble the Sundae:
In a serving dish, layer a brownie square at the bottom. Top with a scoop of your favorite ice cream. Repeat the layers for a thicker sundae, if desired.
  6. Add Toppings:
Drizzle the warm chocolate syrup generously over the ice cream and brownies. Sprinkle chocolate chips on top for extra texture and decoration. Add a dollop of whipped cream if you like.
  7. Serve & Enjoy:
Serve immediately with a spoon and enjoy this indulgent dessert!
