Glazed Curds No Sugar: A Healthy Dessert Recipe

Place the dates in a bowl and pour boiling water over them. Let them sit for 15 minutes to soften.
Drain the dates and remove any pits if necessary. Blend the softened dates into a smooth paste using a food processor or blender.
Prepare the Cottage Cheese Mixture:
In a mixing bowl, combine the cottage cheese, unsweetened cocoa powder, and vanilla extract. Blend thoroughly until the mixture is smooth and uniform.
Add the date paste to the cottage cheese mixture and blend until smooth. Adjust the sweetness and flavor with additional vanilla extract if desired.
Form the Curds:
Take small portions of the cottage cheese mixture and shape them into small bars or balls. Place them on a parchment-lined tray.
Chill the Curds:
Refrigerate the formed curds for about 30 minutes to firm up.
Melt the Chocolate:
Melt the chocolate using a double boiler or microwave in short intervals, stirring until smooth.
Stir in the vegetable oil to create a smooth and shiny glaze.
Glaze the Curds:
Dip each chilled curd into the melted chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork to lift the curds out of the chocolate, allowing any excess to drip off.
Place the glazed curds back onto the parchment-lined tray.
Set the Glaze:
Refrigerate the glazed curds for another 15-20 minutes, or until the chocolate coating has hardened.
Serve:
Enjoy the glazed curds chilled as a healthy dessert.
Keep any remaining portions in a sealed container and refrigerate.
Conclusion:
These glazed curds without added sugar are a perfect healthy dessert option that is both delicious and nutritious. The natural sweetness of dates combined with the rich chocolate glaze creates a treat that is sure to satisfy your sweet tooth without the guilt. Enjoy this delightful dessert with your family and savor the flavors of a healthier indulgence.
