Chewing xylitol gum after meals reduces cavity risk and strengthens enamel over time.

Diet also supports enamel health. Calcium-rich foods like cheese, leafy greens, nuts, and seeds, along with vitamin D from fatty fish, promote remineralization. Green tea provides antioxidants that inhibit harmful bacteria and reduce inflammation. Timing matters, too—waiting 30–60 minutes after acidic meals before brushing protects softened enamel.
